Sea of Pollution

Students were tasked to design and create a Vivienne Westwood-inspired outfit that uses activism to advocate for climate action in fashion. My project explores pollution in our waterways, capturing the suffocating impact waste has on the environment. I also comment on our culture of excess consumption, drawing inspiration from the opulence of Rococo fashion to highlight themes of indulgence and environmental disregard.
